I have lowered my reserve price to $2,650. I really need to move this vehicle so serious bidders only please.

For sale is a 1968 Mustang Coupe. I’ve started the restoration but no longer have sufficient time to finish due to my work load. I’ve replaced all the floor pans, replaced front and rear torque boxes, I have new cowl vent patch panels in place, they just need welded in.

I have many new parts to go with the car that haven’t been installed yet, new radiator core support and cross member, new front right fender apron, new battery tray kit, new front right frame rail section. The reason for these new parts is due to rust in the front right section of the car, from where battery acid leaked and ate the paint off. The rust isn’t that bad, but still warrants replacement parts. Other sections that need replaced are the rear quarter panels where they meet the trunk floor drop offs. I have the new parts for this section as well.

I was going to replace the front fenders due to some damage where they meet the front valence, an experienced body man could fix them. The hood is fine, just needs restored. The deck lid is dented in a little, but once again an experienced body man can fix it. Over all this car is in good shape from what I’ve seen. That is about the extent of the rust.

The current condition of the car is a rolling chassis and is stripped down. The car has the climate controls for AC, but it didn’t come with the compressor or anything. The engine is a 289 V8 and runs just fine. The transmission is a C4 and needs rebuilt (slips from second to third). I have most all the parts for the complete car. It does need a front windshield, the rear one is OK. Both doors are OK and so is the glass. The drivers and passengers seat are in good shape, the rear seat needs redone. Will need new carpet.
